I’ve been reading on several other blogs, including Kelly’s and Violet’s, about the small things that make them happy every day. As such I’ve been making an effort lately to be more aware of all the things that bring me happiness and levity on otherwise dreary winter days. While I can’t commit to blogging about it every day, I may do it every now and again, perhaps on Sunday. So here we go.
- Arranging Kelly’s Valentine’s day gifts yesterday in her living room while she was out, and seeing the big smile on her face when I returned.
- Spending a wonderful evening with Kelly last night, watching a movie and sharing popcorn
- The way my cat Bailey wakes me every morning by tickling my arm with her whiskers, or gently nudging me with her paw. Sure, she wants treats from me, but it’s cute nonetheless.
- Waking up to beautiful blue sky and sunshine
- Occasionally glancing at the beautiful hand made card Kelly created for me for Valentine’s Day while I type this list.
