Grace in Small Things – 2

• Having Kelly stay over last night, on the aniversary of our meeting.  Two years ago, on the 21st, we first noticed each others blinking cursors.
• Waking next to Kelly this morning, the sun peeking in between the blind and the window frame.
• Having to wait 45 minutes before getting my hair cut at the mall, and spending it wandering around purposefully appreciating every single element of the experience, from the  sound of a baby giggling to smiles from strangers.
• Making good use of lessons I have learned from Kelly, and having her teach me more today about meditation.
• Leaving a big handful of peanuts under the trees next to my parking spot at Kelly’s building. Imagining how happy the little squirrels will be next time they come looking.
