It was cold today. Very cold. Again. But I am NOT complaining. Not at all. It’s February in Ontario after all. And to be honest, if was a beautiful sunny day with a gorgeous blue sky. But soon, very soon, things will start to warm up, and before long, spring will be upon us with all it’s sights, sounds and smells.
Until then, I thought you might like to see my backyard in the summer.
Ok not really, of course. This is The Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. I took this picture a few years ago on my cross country trip. This is only a small part of property. If you are ever out that way, and you enjoy gardens, it’s well worth the time.

Gorgeous pic! I also have gardens on the brain. A community garden local to me has its annual meeting next week and I’m going to go and see if I can reserve a plot. I already have a wish list of veggies and fruit that I want to plant. (I live in a high rise apartment building with no balconies – not much in the way of gardening opportunities).
My inital reaction was WOW he sure did a lot to the garden since we were there!
LOL I do believe I have walked the garden in the photo when we were THERE too.
😉 Or one like it somewhere else. i’ll have to ask DH.
