Goin to Bed
This will be a short post. I am not feeling well and I’m going to bed early. I’ve already called in to work and left messages for my team that I will not be there. I’ve changed my voicemail and set my outlook “out-of-office” assistant to “on”.
Now I can sleep in and take care of myself. It doesn’t look like I am going to the game Friday either. But I’m not so concerned about it. It’s early in the season and there are lots of games to go.
Alright. So. How do I surprise all of you, my regular readers, all 3 of you, and not have you feel cheated by such a short post. Easy. My picture. You’ve all seen how beautiful Kelly is, and must have wondered what handsome fella could possibly win her affections.
Well, he couldn’t, she picked me instead!! 🙂
This picture was taken after a dinner out this summer. Some of you may recognize the dress she is wearing. It’s one she had made and blogged about.

Well, Syl, I am terribly sorry you are not feeling well. I do hope it’s something very minor and will pass quickly. Good that you are taking time off work.
I wonder if “the absence of Kelly” is an illness? Stress can get one down and no doubt that you have been feeling less than your usual upbeat self since she took off for the Southland. Lots of folks have colds now, so it might be one of those pesky germs got you.
I am definiately sending you tons of healing energy (it’s blue). (or is it green?) Gosh in the 60’s I knew all the colors for these things. Seems to have slipped my aged mind! LOL Anyway, here’s lots of good wishes and prayers and energy for getting well asap! Ya hear?

I think we must have the same cooties, Sylvain! Last night I was lying in bed while Coffee finished up the trim in the bathroom (right next to our room). As he was using the jigsaw to cut chunks of wood, I managed to fall asleep! The saw was LOUD! LOUD LOUD! and there I was, snoring away.. I hope you’re feeling better very, very soon and that you got some good quality sleep last night!

Sylvain! Sorry to be so late to the “get better soon, my friend!” bandwagon. I’m sure, by now, that you are so much better that you can laugh insouciantly at my suggestion you were ever under the weather!
As to your picture–dude, I am equally as lucky as you, some guy who managed to find a marvelous and gorgeous lady to call their better half, and sings her praises every day! Were it not for guys like you and me, there would not be the lucky ladies of common features who find saint-like men to care for them! It all balances, doesn’t it?

Ah…. and now I’ll explain the “still blogging” comment . I bookmarked the site on my first visit. Er, I bookmarked the post. And no matter how often I returned, there were no new postings. I assumed the photo was posted today, and there was finally a new post. But when I found Owen on a separate day, I started investigating and realized the error of my link!
